Select your network card from CCGetMAC’s interface, click the Start button, and the application will scan a range of IP addresses. Once the scan completes, the interface will display a list of all the devices that are connected to your network. And to be more precise, the interface will display the following info once the scan completes: IP address, MAC address, host name, CPU, RAM size, share file, system version, net card type, and net card vendor.

Download an installer, run the installer once the download completes, follow the simple instructions presented onscreen by a setup wizard. These are the simple steps you must go through to install CCGetMAC on your Windows-powered PC. Please note that you will be installing a trial version that is free to use for a period of 30 days.

The main panel on CCGetMAC’s interface presents the results of a scan: IP address, MAC address, host name, CPU, RAM size, share file, system version, net card type, and net card vendor.
Above this main panel there’s a traditional File Menu and a toolbar with buttons for various functions: start scan, stop scan, open the Settings menu, and more.

Overall, the interface is easy to use. From this easy to use interface you’ll be able to access the following bits of functionality: scan an IP range; save the scan results, use Visio to draw a flow chart; view IP addresses, MAC addresses, computer names, and more; remotely connect to a desktop; Wake-on-LAN is supported; manage a list of favorites.

As mentioned above, CCGetMAC is free to use for a trial period of 30 days. This should be more than enough time to figure out if you want to purchase a license or not.

Thanks to CCGetMAC you can see which devices are connected to your network, get the IP and MAC addresses for all the devices connected to your network, and even wake up devices that are connected to your network.

Pros

Installing CCGetMAC on a Windows PC will take little time and require a minimal amount of effort. You will very quickly figure out CCGetMAC’s interface. Using CCGetMAC is a very simple matter: pick a network card, launch a scan, review the scan results; you can save the scan results and use Visio to draw a flow chart. Wake-on-LAN is supported. Remote desktop connection is supported as well.

Cons

Trial limitations: 30-day trial.
